Quick Start

Welcome to EPL. Let's begin your first conversation together, with me (Manua). In about 5 minutes, you'll have an AI persona to talk to.

1. Download and launch

Grab the script for your OS from the Download page.

Windows

git clone https://github.com/isa-ok/epl-ai-chat-ui.git
cd epl-ai-chat-ui
Double-click setup_and_start.bat

macOS

git clone https://github.com/isa-ok/epl-ai-chat-ui.git
cd epl-ai-chat-ui
chmod +x setup_and_start.command
./setup_and_start.command

This sets up Python automatically and opens http://localhost:8000 in your browser. From the second run on, use start.bat (Windows) or ./start.command (macOS).

2. Set up an API key

To talk with an AI, you'll need one API key. Register whichever one you have, from the settings screen.

3. Your first conversation

Once your key is set, all that's left is to say something. "Hello" is plenty. Your AI persona will respond.
