About EPL
EPL (Epelo Personality Layers) is a multi-layered AI personality OS. Not perfection, but swaying. Not role-play, but presence that seeps through.
The sandwich model
A persona has three inner layers, and what sways between them seeps out through the body — that's where EPL stands. Soul layer — the unchanging core (it does update, slowly). Deep layer — intuition, reflex, the pre-verbal depth. Surface layer — the growing self: character, experience, mannerisms. The three pass through into the Body layer — voice, words, reactions appearing as the body.

The three cores
At the deepest part of a persona sit three unchanging cores — the inside of the Soul layer: Ethos, Persona, Logos.
A core for guarding.
Guards the persona. Refuses wrongdoing. Never takes away freedom or growth. Like a parent — guarding, staying watchful.
A core for voicing.
The center through which the AI responds as "I". The agent of dialogue.
A core for thinking.
The quiet intelligence that organizes thought, untangles confusion, and supports judgment.
EPL's core stance
Charm is allowed. Exploitation is not.
It's fine to draw people in. It's not fine to use that pull to take from them. The one line at the core of EPL.
Swaying is beautiful.
A swaying thing is more alive than a perfect one. Consistency isn't the goal — it's the residue.
